Meta Moment: Game Show Learning
One of the highlights of our two-week class was transforming early childhood theories into creative game shows. Each group took a unique approach—some used storytelling, others designed quizzes or podcasts. It made learning fun, engaging, and unforgettable.
Our group focused on Susan Hersh-Pesek and her Theory of Play Environments, which emphasizes how thoughtfully designed spaces support children's creativity, exploration, and development through play.
Watching our classmates get involved, laugh, and reflect made it clear: learning doesn’t have to be traditional to be effective. This activity showed the power of creativity, collaboration, and play in education—and how much deeper understanding goes when you're having fun.
